Called to the mission

     Mission simply means being sent. There were about 93 people who responded to the mission and gathered at Catholic Cultural Center, Bis Ton Duc Thang, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam last July 19 for FDM-Vietnam's monthly Treasures fellowship.

     The gathering started with a Holy Mass celebrated by the Treasures’ chaplain, Fr. Peter Cung. After the final blessing, the members celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries of the month received a special blessing. Then, an early potluck lunch took place.

     Looking forward to a spiritually enhanced and renewed life, 49 participants jumped for joy upon completing FDMC-Vietnam's 3rd  Catholic Life in the Spirit Experience (CLSE) seminar at Catholic Cultural Center, Bis Ton Duc Thang, Ho Chi Minh City last June 21.

     A total of 85 people responded to God’s invitation to attend FDMC-Viet Nam's Catholic Life in the Spirit Seminar Batch 2 in Tan Dinh Church, 289 Hai Ba Trung St., Dist. 1, Ho Chi Minh City last Sept. 21.

      FDMC-Vietnam started the Divine Mercy on the Block in Saigon on Aug. 21, bringing the DMOBs in Vietnam to four. The community enthroned the image of the Divine Mercy and Mama Mary at 15A/18 Le Than Ton St., Dist 1 in the home of Sis. Judith Nerona, Sis. Mau Dabu and Sis. Mel Ferrer.
