It has been noticed for long years now that the Evangelical Mission of the community has been limited to a confined area where the flow of the public is unknowingly prevented because of the venue of the TREASURE that’s unexposed & inaccessible to the eyes of the passersby.
Probabilities have been most likely happening because of this scenario like:
1.The receivers of the Good News are mostly the FDMC members only.
2.The gathering has been seemingly exclusive to the members.
3.The blessings are exclusively confined to the community members only.
Evangelization could be maximized if the venue of the TREASURE can be brought to an area where flexibility on drawing the public is feasible.
I have no idea if it will eat up a budget higher than what is spent from the current set up but if it could be manageable through the Community’s resources, Luneta or EDSA Shrine quadrangle could be the ideal venues which are closest to the public.
If the TREASURE could be held to these crowd-drawer venues, the following advantage may be achieved
1.The Gospel could reach not only the FDMC Members & the invited guests but also the passersby.
2.The grace on transformation, spiritual formation, emotional & psychological strength, spiritual maturity have bigger chances of multiplication on every fellowship held because of different crowd that could access to the preaching.
3.The blessings could unexpectedly be received by both the spectators & the Members.
4.Bigger chances of discovering talents & leaders for different ministries; & for a wider range of sustainability on charitable works, chapter expansion while in the process of open-to-the-public fellowship & formation which could gain dependable people in the process.
5.Continuing huge scale encouragement drawing every people from all walks of life.
6.Bigger scale of formed & healed individuals in term of character & personality which are essential for resources management.
7.Multitudes are brought closer to God & God to the people. Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature.
Luke 9:6 Then they set out and went from village to village proclaiming the good news and curing diseases everywhere.
Romans 10:14-18 But how can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach? And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring (the) good news!" But not everyone has heeded the good news; for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed what was heard from us?" Thus faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. But I ask, did they not hear? Certainly they did; for "Their voice has gone forth to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world."
Mark 1:4 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ (the Son of God). As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: "Behold, I am sending my messenger ahead of you; he will prepare your way. A voice of one crying out in the desert: 'Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.'" John (the) Baptist appeared in the desert proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
2 Timothy 4:1-5 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingly power: proclaim the word; be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths. But you, be self-possessed in all circumstances; put up with hardship; perform the work of an evangelist; fulfill your ministry.
