The Friends of the Divine Mercy outreach community, FDM-Talim Island, held its monthly prayer meeting on Dec. 13 at Sto. Domingo Parish in Janosa, Talim Island, Binangonan, Rizal. FDM-Las Pinas headed by Sis. Fe Negele, head servant, conducted the meeting.

    The activity was held at 1:30-2:30 p.m., with an attendance of more than 30 members, mostly youth.

     Sis. Fe led the group to the praise and worship activity while Bro. Max Estayo delivered the insight on the Sunday gospel, reflecting on the proper way to celebrate Advent, which is the arrival or coming of the Lord Jesus as Judge and King.

      Bro. Mon Balmaceda served as moderator and Sis. Eldee Palma as joyful song leader.  Sis. Liza Guinto and Sis. Madel Espiritu provided the music.

     Fr. Bong Sanchez, parish priest of Sto. Domingo, welcomed the group to the parish.

     The next prayer meeting is set in February 2009.
