After a long preparation, the Kiddie Friends of Jesus was launched on June 28, 2009 at the Lay Force Building, San Carlos Seminary, Guadalupe, Makati City.
 Kids from different chapters (Caloocan, Pasay, Pasig, Malabon, Las Pinas, Makati-Main) attended the activity. A total of 41 kids joined the group.
The activity started with a welcome remarks and orientation by Sis. Gemma Palmera. Then, Sis. Adie Del Rosario led the Joyful song, making the kids more responsive and participative. Also, Sis. Elsie Celeste and Sis. Resty Pascual served as facilitators.
Sis. Gemma followed with a story-telling session on "Creation," with the aid of materials and drawing. The kids were able to become more attentive to the activity. Likewise, they were given a chance to paint the globe, which initially was bare.
The kids were grouped into three. The first group was composed of children aged 3,4 and 5; the second of ages 6,7, 8 and 9; and the third of ages 10,11 and 12. . They were given a break to eat their snacks after the game activity. They were asked to share their food with their newfound friends.
