FRIENDS merchandise store opens |

The first store of the Friends of the Divine Mercy opened last Feb.7.
Named as Friends Gen. Merchandise, the store is strategically located at the parish ground of San Bartolome Parish in Malabon City.
Fr. Ric Torrefiel, parish priest of San Bartolome and spiritual director of the community, blessed the store last Feb. 9 in the presence of Bro. Rene Tumang, adviser/director, elders Bro. Lito Dawa, Bro. Allan Tigue and Sis. Dina Balicanot, with other servant leaders and members of FDM-Malabon.
The store is being managed by Sis. Dal Lipayon, FDM-Malabon head servant, with Sis. Apple Ortega assisting.
The store, some of whose items will come from entrepreneurial community members, aims to provide livelihood opportunities for members and generate funds for the community's various outreach activities.
