Thirty-seven participants completed the two-day joint Catholic Life in the Spirit (CLSE) seminar conducted by the Friends of the Divine Mercy Pasay and Villamor chapters last Sept. 12-13 at Function Hall of Zaballa's Residence, 16th-11th Sts., Airmen's Village, Pasay City.
The seminar was the 11th for both chapters, with Villamor accounting for 24 of the number and Pasay, 13.The CLSE is a regular community activity aimed at giving individuals a chance to renew their Christian life by experiencing the Spirit. The speakers were: Bro. Lito Dawa (Introduction/ Praise and Worship), Sis. Belle Fabian (God's Love), Bro. Rene Tumang (Salvation/New Life), Bro. John Gabe (Receiving God's Gifts/Baptism), and Bro. Allan Tigue (Growth/Transformation). Bro. Bimbo Tecson, a worker at FDM-Pasay, shared to the participants his transformation story and how he has committed to serving in the community. Sis. Dina Balicanot introduced the Divine Mercy devotion, a core advocacy of the community.Fr. Albert Adison from the Our Lady of the AIrways Parish was the confessor and celebrant at the Holy Mass that capped the two-day activity. He also commissioned the graduates to be "light and salt" of the earth. Sis. Camille Balite was moderator at Day 1, and Sis. Aya Bagas, Day 2. Sis. Anjelaine Austria served as joyful dance leader at Day 1, and Sis. Camille, Day 2.
