FDM-Villamor feeds 163 kids

FDM-Villamor relaunched the SoupER Friends feeding program at Villamor, holding two simultaneous feedings at 8th-27th Sts. and 9th-2nd Sts., Airmen’s Village, Pasay City last Dec. 6 at 10 a.m.

The feeding served a total of 163 children.

Sis. Angelaine and Jelly Austria opened the activities with a prayer and engaged the kids to a trivia on Christmas. The kids played games and were asked Christmas-related questions. Kids who gave the right answers received prizes.

The kids were taught the real reason for the Christmas feast – the coming of Christ to save mankind and to spread love to everyone, including young children.

The giving of Christmas presents to the kids capped the activity.

The feeding served as the community’s Christmas outreach to the kids in the area who were mostly from the poor households.

Donors for the outreach included Mrs. Meg Montalla, Carmen Asi and Bro. Nonong Mirarza.
