     There are so many scriptural passages about healing and there are people who were given this gift. I myself have this gift but was not aware until I discovered it for myself way back in 1986.
 
     It was manifested as a form of heat on my palm. It generated a warm feeling and comfort when placed on the chest, stomach, nape, among others. During a “Healing Explosion” in Romblon, it rained and drenched all the people gathered in the place. An old woman was chilling when I took hold of her hand to give her warmth and was eventually comforted. The people felt God’s power and healing.

     Many people want to be healed. But there are different kinds of healing.

     1.    Physical Healing. We are healed physically of our sickness, either internal or external healing of our body. We usually go to doctors for us to be healed of our physical illnesses.

     2.    Spiritual Healing. We need spiritual healing if we have sinned and have destroyed our relationship with God. This is where the Sacrament of Reconciliation comes. When we are spiritually healed, chances are physical healing follows. When we have a strained relationship, we are troubled and we cannot eat and sleep. Depression follows, triggering cancer cells to be activated and to multiply. It would be better to first have spiritual healing. As stated in John 14:1: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me.”

 
     3.    Emotional Healing. This is referred to as inner healing. I usually conduct a one-on-one interview with the patient. It is a long process. It requires knowing your past traumatic experiences and healing deep within the heart. It covers  what you have gone through from childhood to the present state of life.
 
     4.    Family Tree Healing. This is a form of healing where your ancestors are part of your reparation. Your ancestors might have engaged in occult practices and you are suffering because of them.
 
     5.    Financial Healing. There are so-called “strong” prayer warriors. They could pray for financial healing to open God’s vault of treasures. We ask for financial healing not to erase all our financial debts but to be able to pay them in due time. It is not good not to pay our obligations, but rather pray for healing that your finances may be blessed.
 
     6.    Material Healing. This is a form of healing wherein material blessings come forth and material success comes easily.
 
     Healing comes in different forms when being prayed over.
 
     1.    Instant Healing. Just like in the scriptures, the mute was able to speak; the dead rose to life. The result is immediate.

     2.    Constant Healing. Not immediately healed but along the way. Example of this is the healing of the ten lepers. They were instructed by Jesus to go to the priest. And on their way, they were healed.

     3.    Soaking Prayer Healing. This requires a lot of prayer. The sickness of the person has a reason; it becomes redemptive in nature. The patient’s long suffering is for the salvation of a soul. Prayerful people and saints are mostly afflicted.
 
     If healing comes to you, serve God. Change your lifestyle. Have faith in God, because this is important in healing. Always be reminded that God loves us and He wants us healed. Do not abuse your body. Take care of it. Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God.
