     After 17years of promoting a renewed life in the Spirit and propagating the devotion to the Divine Mercy, how far have we gone in our community, The Friends of the Divine Mercy?

     After 17 years (1991-2008) of serving in God’s vineyard, we already have 10 global chapters, two outreach communities and 26 Divine Mercy on the Block (DMOB) groups.

     Our activities include a weekly prayer meeting per chapter, our monthly Treasures, Kapanalig Life in the Spirit Experience (KLSE) every second Sunday of the month, "This is Your Day!" radio program every Thursday over Radio Veritas 846 and our monthly SoupER Friends feeding program.

     The Divine Mercy of Jesus lives in us to bring hope and to spread love.“Let the spark of the new civilization—the civilization of love begins in us, right now.”(Pope John Paul II)We will continue to heed the call. We will never stop responding. We are taking up the service. And we will always be there.

     The new tagline of our community “Bringing Care to the Poorest of the Poor” supersedes our initial tagline which was “Sharing the Joy of the Mission”. The launching of the Poorest of the Poor will be held in (our) August, 2008 Treasures.
