FDMC-Bacolod successfully held its Catholic Life in the Spirit Seminar for Batch 4 last October 6-7, 2007 at the Parlor Hall, Sacred Heart Seminary, Lupit Church, Lizares Avenue, Bacolod City.
    Bro. Rene Tumang, the community’s director-adviser, came all the way from Manila with the Divine Preachers – Bro. Allan Tigue, Sis. Dina Balicanot and guest speaker, Bro. John Gabe – to deliver the talks.

     Sixty-two participants answered God’s invitation for a renewed life in the spirit. Bro. Rene introduced the seminar to the participants, then talked on Praise and Worship.
     He also delivered the talk on God’s Love and in the afternoon, he expounded on Salvation and New Life, where he shared his own struggles in life, for a better understanding of the topic.
      Bro. John Gabe talked about Receiving God’s Gift and laid hands on the participants during the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
     Bro. Allan delivered the topic on Growth while Sis. Dina discussed the need for Transformation to a new life. She also explained the Devotion to the Divine Mercy.
     Rev. Fr. Art Arnaiz, CICM served as the confessor and main celebrant of the Holy Mass, the culminating activity for the two-day seminar.
      Sis. Rosamie Azuro from FDMC-Bacolod was the coordinator for the seminar. Workers from FDMC-Manila provided support, namely: Sis. Honey Jardinico-Oasan (Moderator–Day1), Sis. Miles Maquiling (Moderator-Day 2), and Bro. Waldee Oasan and Sis. Madel Espiritu (Music Ministry).
      Sis. Grex, Sis. Trina, Sis. Micon and Sis. Jackie – all from FDMC-Bacolod – served as joyful dancers.
     The other workers from the Bacolod community included Bro. Alvin, Bro. Arnold, Bro. Casper, Bro. Mark and Bro. Roy, Sis. Gloria, Sis. Nilda, Sis. Grace, Sis. Menchie, Sis. Myra, Sis. Shiela, Sis. Warlit, Sis. Emma, Sis. Sheryl and Sis. Ina. – (RAMinas)
