The Media Ministry, in an effort to improve content production for the community website and newsletter, held a seminar-workshop on "Basic Writing and Basic Photography" on Oct. 20, 2007.

    Participants learned practical lessons on news gathering, news writing, and the basics of photography – how to take pictures, what to take, etc.

    Media ministry members Bro. Max Estayo and Sis. Rose Minas facilitated the activity. 

    Eight members from the community’s different chapters took part in the seminar-workshop:

    Sis. She Tapang and Sis. Anjelaine Austria (FDMC-Villamor), Sis. Irene Torres and Sis. Bheng Lim (FDMC-Malabon); Sis. Nene Alejandro and Bro. George Santos (FDMC-Pasig); and Sis. Jane Lood and Sis. Mitch Lacambra (FDMC-Pasay).

      The participants had a challenging time writing their own news stories. Outdoor shooting for the photography lesson was, however, a fun moment.   They will soon be tapped to be contributors for the website and newsletter.
