More than a hundred participants attended Day 1 of the CLSS; 99 of them graduated with certificates on Day 2. Topics on the first day of the CLSS included the Introduction by Bro. Allan Tigue followed by Praise and Worship.
Sis. Belle talked about God’s Love and shared her experiences on how her family has been touched by His mercy and forgiveness.
Bro. Lito Dawa delivered the topic on Salvation while Bro. Bimbo Tecson talked on his New Life with the Lord. Sis. Dina Balicanot’s explanation of the Devotion to the Divine Mercy capped the first day of the seminar.
On Day 2, Bro. Rene Tumang handled Receiving God’s Gift and Baptism while Bro. Bot Balbero, in his Growth and Transformation topics, brought the house down with his antics and true-to-life challenges for spiritual growth and transformation to a renewed person.
The climax of the CLSS was a mass celebrated by Fr. Bong Sanchez with his call to the graduates of the seminar to be active parishioners as they grow spiritually and learn to be generous and to love the parish where they belong. Fr. Bong led the commissioning, putting the graduates to the task of being the salt and light of the earth.
