      The mission for a free medical consultation and tooth extraction was accomplished last July 1, 2007 at the Manila City Jail with Sis. Dina Balicanot coordinating and Sis. Mildred Oanes, head servant of FDMC-Manila City Jail, liaising.

     A total of 236 female inmates were served, 80 of them dental patients. Medical patients were examined by Dr. Kris Isaac Brugada, Dr. Elaisa Mendoza and Dr. Vicky Bungabong. A total of 13 dental students from Centro Escolar University, Dentus et sus as they call themselves, led by Sis. Donna del Rosario volunteered their services with Dr. Michael Japzon as their head. Husband and wife Drs. Allan and Heidi Galsim supervised the dental team.

      The mission was ably supported by volunteer nurses, namely: Cita Alcantara, Rebecca Tan, Mina Anonuevo and Grace Bitara. Sis. Bheng Lim headed the nurses' station with Bro. Robert Lim, Bro. EJ Julapong and Sis. Che Angue assisting.

      United Laboratories, Inc. donated medicines for the mission, while the Metrobank group led by Sis. Diksi Diaz also provided support.
